Ending an ERA!!!

So due to all of the many complications this LONG lasting relationship has had I have decided to walk away. Many of you have tried for years to tell me that it was just not a very healthy relationship but I just would not hear your pleas! But... the time has come!! I should have listened before now to my family and friends that he would lead me down a path of destruction & pain. But as we all know I am stubborn and ALWAYS have to learn the hard way and for myself. So I guess what I am getting to here is that my next SEVERAL posts will be about the road to healing and empowerment from this separation! And I hope you can all travel this road with me and support me in my decision to leave him!

EXCUSES Excuses excuses!!!!!

Once upon a time not long ago... I had a life! It was a simple one, but still a life. I had time to do the simple things like laundry...dishes....enjoy a TV show. And then I discovered the wonderful world of FB applications!! Yes my friends and family I Jonathan am a FB ADDICT!!! I believe I should start a 12 step program or something!! So it is my new goal to step away from FB long enough to say something to you all at least once a month! (hey, it's a start!) If I am able to Pry myself away more frequently then all the better!! :) But for now I must go! The shakes are coming back! Withdrawals are not a pretty site!! TA TA

R-U-B-Y, Ruby! can I be your Cup Cake

When I was a kitten the lady who took care of me got really sick and had to go stay at the hospital so I was locked in a bathroom for many months. And then your Uncle Jon rescued me. When I got to his house your Grandma took me out of a box and I was so happy that I hugged her and asked if I could live there. I am very lucky that your Grandma and Uncle Jon love cats and said yes.
They call me Noh Nameh but if you take off the “H” at the end of each name you will see it spells “no name”.
I heard that you want a Cat of your own. I am a nice cat. I am Siamese little boy with big blue eyes. I love to play with my plastic balls that have bells, chase my friends Tyler and Jackson, have my friends chase me too. I also like to play with Bugsy and Chloe but Chloe does not like to play with me. I do get into a little trouble when I want to get on the turtle tank to watch George but he is so much fun to watch. Do you remember watching George at your Grandma’s house?
I know that I can never live with you because your Mommy would get swollen eyes and sneeze a lot, but if I just knew a little girl loved me and I belonged to her and had a real name I would be so happy.
We could send pictures and tell each other what we are doing. I am sending pictures of me so you can see what I look like. I have seen pictures of you and I think you are the prettiest little girl a cat could belong to.

So On this the most abnormal of occasions that Brian has a Friday night off.... We have no $ to do anything and have a list a mile long of things that need to be done around the house! So needless to say there will be no R & R for us this evening. Our afternoon will consist of; Cleaning the pool and surrounding area, Trimming the bougainvillea, Raking and mowing our and neighbors lawns, General house cleaning and best of all LAUNDRY!!!!!! So while the rest of the world is celebrating their weekend we will be dreading the oncoming hours. lol

So in the latest "what the heck was that?" episode in my life.... I had yet another spill into the oh so loved wall! They have become my friends as they catch me from tumbling onto the floor! But unlike any other time, this time everything turned PINK! Yes pink. Who knows how and or why but yes it happened. So after a LONG night sleep (13 hours) I am feeling perfectly well!! Just glad that I have learned to find the humor in my life.

On the subject of the rest of life...not to much has changed. We are STILL fostering animals for a group that I left 2 months ago! how that works I do not know?!?!?! Brian still working crummy jobs and me still getting the run around with health care! But on a brighter note I did get my medical clearance from the Pulmonologist for my surgery! yay!!!

So it is countdown time for the Harry Potter movie! I am STOKED! not that I have the money or means to go see it right off but just knowing it is here once again makes my little heart thump! Maybe by some sort of miracle I will be able to go for the opening! Since surprisingly it is NOT sold out.

Ah yes this is the way we blog! So due to efforts of my sisters I will blog again. Not much has happened in our little corner of the world. But I will try my best to sum the bits together!

Well this costs $ and that is a SCARCE commodity these days! Therefore we have not had any spectacular adventures.

Health
Brian is still TOO dang skinny but his sleep problem is getting a little better!

As for me I have a new obstacle to endeavor. They have discovered a bilateral mass formation in the upper lobe section of my lungs. The Dr has no clue as to what it is so now I get to go in for a needle aspiration biopsy! They will stick a HUGE needle in my chest to remove a piece of the mass on the right side to run a series of tests on.

And I think that about sums it up for now! I will ebark on new adventures soon I hope!

On to NEW ADVENTURES

So last saturday buddy was adopted!! And it was my last day working with that rescue. But never fear I have started something new and improved! We all know what a long grooling process it is looking for that perfect pet!! WELL..... My new website is just that. a pet finding service. It will one day be a 501 c 3 non profit when I can afford to register it but for now just a free service. Then I will start a rescue and trust under that 501 the rescue caleed..."Kritter's Kitty Kabin" that will also offer bording and the trust called..."Beau's Fund" for people who cannot afford vet care! I cannot wait!!!

As for the rest of life not much has changed. Still fighting neuropathy! Still waiting for answers! And still being BORED!! Even with all the extra fun I have found in volunteer work!

Jon to the RESCUE!!!!!

About 2 weeks ago I was watching the 10 o'clock news. A sad sad sad story came on about abandoned animals. A woman here along with a group of real estate agents started a rescue mission 3 months ago called Lost Our Home Pet Foundation. It was started due to the increasing number of animals being found in foreclosed homes that have been left for dead. This group is AMAZING!!! They take animals into "foster" homes and re-train them for a forever home. They also have 2 sub programs: Furry Friends of Foster- A TEMPORARY placement where someone could get there pet back when they get a place!!! And Furry Friends Food Bank- For people who are wanting to drop an animal due to expenses in this economy....They help with food, litter and such! How WONDERFUL right! So I decide to see what it takes to be a foster parent for them and believe it or not...as long as you have a roof and love they are willing to do the rest!! So the next thing i know......I am now the foster coordinator and helping with some PR. I also have fosters here and went on my very own rescue mission.

This is Buddy it took us over 2 hours to lure him into coming with us. he was SO scared! As the story was told to me by the agent he did a "cash for key" where they pay them to leave a foreclosed property. They told him they would be back that night for the dog and the rest of the items the had left on the porch. Then a week later the stuff was gone but the dog was still there. The neighbors had been giving him food and water but he WATCHED his people leave him!! EVIL humans!! Well I better go and play with the zoo I have started lots to do now! YAY something worthwhile and uplifting too! YAY me!!!!

DEMANDS!!!!

Well thanks to the demands of a WONDERFUL friend I will post a brief update as to what is goin on in life....NOTHING!! Not much changes around here. I am looking for a new series to occupy my time now that twilight is over :( ! Brian Just found a part time job to attempt to get our heads above the ever rising waters of debt! As for mom she is making a great recovery from knee surgery from what I hear! I am not there to know for sure tho!

As for what we did in UT and why I was able to see and become so addicted to my BEAUTIFUL niece and nephew.... We hung with the fam and met some new ones!! It was amazing!!

Withdrawals!!!!!

OK so now I truly know what an addict I REALLY am!!! I have been home for 2 weeks and already I am going through withdrawals!! But seriously can you blame me I need more!!!

OH PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE let it be true!!

So the neurologist thinks we can reverse the neuropathy if we caught it in time!! No I am not yet a Diabetic but my neuropathy is as bad as one! She thinks it is due to my body trying to reject B12! So I will be taking DAILY injections for 3 weeks then down to once a week for 3 months then once a month for 1 year!!! oww!!! Here is what I found about that!

Vitamin B12 deficiency occurs when there is an abnormally low level of vitamin B12 absorbed in the body. Vitamin B12 deficiency can be a factor in a variety of different health conditions and disorders. B12 deficiency inhibits of severy decrease the bodies ability to produce blood, increases blood cell destruction, and is very harmful to the nervous system.Characteristic signs of B12 deficiency include fatigue, weakness, nausea, constipation, flatulence (gas), loss of appetite, and weight loss. Symptoms of severe vitamin B12 deficiency (regardless of the cause) may include burning of the tongue, fatigue, weakness, loss of appetite, intermittent constipation and diarrhea, abdominal pain, weight loss, menstrual symptoms, psychological symptoms, and nervous system problems, such as numbness and tingling in the feet and hands.

Let's hope then maybe no more wheelchair and even better than that!!!

ALOHA O'HANA

Well long time no post!! BUT............ Since we have all the reason to celebrate soon I believe we should! Paris and family comes home just when we USED to have our family get together. The 24th has and will always be one of my favorite holidays. So I suggest that we do the BBQ Firework thing that is one of MY fondest childhood memories. So who's in? I need to know so I know when to have Brian schedule his Vacation time and have enough $ to get there. Gas is ridiculous but well spent mullah if I get to see y'all! So once again who's in and any ideas for where we want to set up or times!! Love and kisses
